Funny Bone

This client had just spent a year in recuperation from an operation to repair a torn ligament in her knee. After a year of recovery time she wanted to host a party to celebrate the end of the healing process and thank all of the people who had helped her while she was on the mend.

Blue Hum's concept was to create an invitation that looked exactly like a x-ray of the repaired knee. An actual x-ray was scanned, text added and then printed on transparent film.

The official-looking text at the bottom reads:

• Patient Name: K. Smit
• Diagnosis: Broken knee
• Procedure: Stuck it back together
• Rehab Plan: Sweat and tears
• Results available for review
• July 16 2002 8:30 P.M. RSVP
