Spreading fire for social good

Sometimes people are moved to act. Someone is struck with a clear vision of a way to make an improvement in their community. It lights a fire within them. They see the set of factors surrounding the problem and they see the ways needed to bend those factors to fulfil their wish for change and they make it happen. But then it stops.

Wensenwerk (Wishing Works) is a young NGO in the Netherlands that is working to keep these sparks of enlightened giving burning. They are working to find these actions, preserving the good, improving the rough, and then replanting them in localities where they could also be of benefit.

Blue Hum was commissioned to create a house style that reflected this concept. Ask any gardener, the common Dandelion is a real survivor, and has an amazing ability to spread and take root in the most unlikely places. The Dandelion-seed theme was adapted to the Wensenwerk web-site, business cards, letterhead, envelops etc.

Blue Hum also created an interactive, personalised, e-invitation for Wensenwork's grand opening party.
